That's why at Jackalope Photo Studio, we don't rely on it. Sure, we've got one window in the studio and three big ones in the front lobby — but we are not a natural light studio (and we absolutely love it).
Our setup uses professional constant LED lighting that gives us total control — soft, flattering, color-true light that looks amazing on every skin tone, every time. (And is super easy to use: click it on and position it.) No matter the weather, time of day, or season, your photos will glow. Consistent. Intentional. Unapologetically bold.

Lume Cube Flex Light Pro
This light is perfect for you to use for headshots, portraits or even to let a hair/makeup artist use while getting hair and/or makeup done. It has two flexible heads on it to move around, warmth and brightness is adjustable.
Lume Cube Tube Lights
These 4-ft LED tubes deliver full-spectrum RGB lighting and adjustable color temperature, giving you versatile, professional-grade illumination for photo and video shoots. The 2 lights are perfect for dynamic background fills, mood lighting, or bold creative effects on set.
Rolling LED Window Wall
This light transforms the atmosphere from harsh overhead lighting to soft, natural light with just a click. You can easily dim the light from either the top or bottom, and the wall can be repositioned anywhere in the space. Measuring 8 feet tall by 9 feet wide, this wall serves as a versatile backdrop or light for any photos you want to capture.
Neweer Snoot
The Neewer Snoot is a photography lighting modifier that fits over a flash or studio light to narrow and focus the beam into a tight spotlight, giving you precise control and dramatic, low-spill lighting. It includes an assortment of inserts to project custom shapes and patterns for added creative effects, and it fits perfectly on the Amaran 300c light included in your booking.
Amaran 300c
The Amaran 300c is a versatile, high-output LED light with adjustable color temperature and rich, accurate color rendering, perfect for photo and video shoots where consistent, professional lighting matters.
Rolling Roku TV
A TV on a rolling stand with Roku — easy to move anywhere in the studio. Use it for client review or reference images. This can be added to your booking for a $50 fee and is a great distraction for kids during sessions or mini days, helping them stay entertained and engaged — or just entertainment for you between sessions.
Fabric Backdrops
Additional fabric backdrops — 8ft tall by 12ft wide, complimentary and ready to use. Grab the stand from the prop room and set up where you want; clamps are in the rolling cart by the bathroom, steamer in the baskets if needed.

Milestone Backdrops
Milestone shoots are hands-down some of my faves — and if seamless paper isn't your vibe, I've got a curated stash of bold, personality-packed backdrops for you to play with. They're yours to use, but you set them up when you get here and tear them down before you leave. Plan your time accordingly. Each one is 80" wide by 60" tall.

Seamless Paper Rolls
We've got a solid lineup of seamless paper rolls in the studio — yours to use, free of charge. If you use one, roll it back up, tape it shut, and return it exactly where you found it. If you burn through a roll or it's toast, tell me before you leave so I can swap it out or order more. If you trimmed scraps or finished off a roll, take your trash with you (dumpster out back).
Milestone Props & Other Options
I have a TON of props in the prop room: cowhide rugs, wooden soda crates, small chairs for milestones, birthday signs, one letters, disco balls — everything in the prop room is free to use. Have at it. There is more in the space, so just ask.
